DFMA is the integration of product design and process planning into one. Smartec provides a full custom design service using the latest in design technology to ensure a full, professional service from concept through to the product. Our overall objective is to design a product that is as easily and economically manufactured as possible.
Vertical Integration allows Smartec to control production from beginning to end. Our core manufacturing capabilities are all done in-house from conceptual design through to development and prototype trials and tests. This is then followed by full production engineering including metalwork, fabrication and testing.

Barcoding traceability system has been used to trace our material, finished goods and plastic parts so that our parts can be properly identified. It provides added benefits for parts, FG, PCBA, carton and shipping identification. Our barcode traceability system is the effective tool to facilitate the goods we manufacture, warehouse & inventory management , production and IPQA verification.
At Smartec, strict controls are in place to ensure that the entrusted IP assets of partners are never disclosed without proper authorisation. All technical data files are securely encrypted and controlled. Special training will be provided to all employees for:

We have implemented SPC control in our lean manufacturing. It effectively detects and reflects defects and variations during manufacturing process as early as possible. SPC measures the outputs of processes, looking for small but statistically significant changes, so that corrections can be made before defects occur.
